Using the Pro plan

Back to the manual contents

For everything in Standard plus making calls from the browser, talking in real time and reviewing call recordings.

What the Pro plan can do

In addition to sending and receiving faxes and voice messages, you can make real-time calls from the browser with call recording. Every outgoing call is recorded. Incoming real-time calls cannot be answered.

Emergency numbers such as 110, 118 and 119 cannot be called. In an emergency, call from a mobile or landline phone. For toll-free, navi-dial, international and other numbers that cannot be called, see Numbers that cannot be called.

Applying for or switching to the Pro plan

  1. Open the plan screen from your account page and choose to apply for or switch to Pro.
  2. Check the points used now, the renewal date after the change and the next renewal fee.
  3. Have the points ready, check what is shown and confirm. If identity verification is not yet complete, complete it.
  4. Confirm on your account page that the Pro plan is active.

You can apply directly from Free. From Standard monthly, the difference is charged. From Standard yearly, the remaining period is converted to Pro pricing, so the renewal date moves earlier. Always check the dates before you confirm.

Choosing monthly or yearly

Compare monthly and yearly prices on Points and plans. Yearly is billed for twelve months at once. When switching, the dates depend on your current contract, so check the next renewal date and the points used as shown on the screen.

Faxes, voice messages and voicemail

The steps are the same as on Standard. Check the file retention deadline shown in each history.

Preparing for browser calls and setting up the microphone

  1. Connect a microphone and speakers, or a headset.
  2. Open the call screen and allow the browser to use your microphone.
  3. Check which microphone and audio output the browser and device are using.
  4. Check the connection status on the screen and your point balance.

If you denied microphone access, allow it in the browser's site settings and reopen the screen. Keep the screen open during the call and use a stable connection.

Make a call from the browser

  1. Open the call screen.
  2. Enter the other party's phone number and check the number and the call conditions shown.
  3. Start the call and talk once the other party answers.
  4. To end the call, use the hang-up control on the screen.
  5. Check the destination, time and result in the call history.

Follow the guidance on the call screen for numbers that cannot be called and other conditions of use.

Check call charges and point usage

Calls use points according to the type of destination and the call duration. Before calling, check Points and plans and what the call screen shows.

After the call, check the call history and the points history on your account page. If your balance is short, buy more points before calling again.

Review call recordings

  1. Open the call history.
  2. Find the call by time and destination and play the recording.
  3. Download any recording you need before the retention deadline shown.

Right after a call, the recording may still be processing. Refresh the screen and check again. If a recording cannot be found, contact support with the time of the call.

Use proof storage for call recordings

See how to use proof storage. The steps are the same on every plan. Check the rates and limits on the screens for your current plan.

Apply from the recording in the call history. The storage fee for a call recording differs from that for faxes and voice messages, so check it on the confirmation screen.

Monthly free points and their expiry

The Pro plan grants 1,000pt of free points each month, valid for one month. Check the grant date and expiry in the points history on your account page.

Free points and purchased paid points expire at different times. Check the expiry of each grant, not just the total balance.

Contract period, automatic renewal and insufficient points

See what to check before renewal. The steps are the same on every plan. Check the rates and limits on the screens for your current plan.

If the balance is short of the Pro fee at renewal you move to Standard; if it is also short of the Standard fee you move to Free. Do not count on the free points grant: check the balance and expiry you need before the renewal.

Changing plan and stopping automatic renewal

To stop at the end of the period, turn automatic renewal off on the plan screen. Leaving Pro immediately is a different operation and ends browser calling at once. The remaining period is not refunded.

Returning to Free also means you can no longer keep the 050 number. See the difference between changing plan and stopping renewal, then check the change and the date shown on the screen before you confirm.

Common questions and troubleshooting

  • The other party cannot hear you: check the microphone connection, the browser permission, and the device's input and mute settings.
  • You cannot hear anything: check the speaker or headset connection and volume, and the device's output.
  • Cannot call: check that Pro is within its period, your point balance, the destination number and the connection status on the screen.
  • Want to answer a call: incoming real-time calls are not supported. Use the voicemail and fax inboxes.

If the problem persists, contact us with the date and time, the device and browser you used, and the error shown.
