Using the Standard plan

Back to the manual contents

For receiving faxes and voicemail on a dedicated 050 number. Sending works the same as on the Free plan.

What the Standard plan can do

Receive faxes and voicemail on a dedicated 050 number. Incoming calls are free. You can also send faxes and voice messages and put sent and received records into proof storage. Real-time calls, incoming or outgoing, are not available.

Identity verification and applying for the plan

  1. Open the plan screen from your account page.
  2. Choose Standard monthly or yearly and check the points needed, including the one-time setup fee. If you are short, buy points.
  3. Check the fee, the renewal conditions and that there are no refunds, then apply.
  4. If identity verification is not yet complete, follow the on-screen guidance. Once it is complete, check your plan and 050 number on your account page.

Applying does not always make the 050 number available immediately. Confirm that identity verification or corporate screening has completed.

Choosing monthly or yearly

Monthly is billed in one-month units and yearly in twelve-month units. Yearly needs a larger number of points at once. Compare prices on Points and plans, and check the points used and the next renewal date on the application screen.

When switching an existing contract, check the new end date and renewal date shown on the screen before you confirm.

Check your dedicated 050 number

  1. Check the 050 number assigned to you and your current plan on your account page.
  2. Give this 050 number to others as the destination for faxes and voicemail.

If no number is shown, check the status of identity verification, corporate screening and your plan application. This number is different from the phone number you used for phone number confirmation.

Send and receive faxes

See how to send a fax. The steps are the same on every plan. Check the rates and limits on the screens for your current plan.

  1. Give the other party your dedicated 050 number and have them send the fax.
  2. Open the fax inbox and check the time received and the sender.
  3. Open the fax, check its content and download any file you need.

Send a voice message

See how to send a voice message. The steps are the same on every plan. Check the rates and limits on the screens for your current plan.

The points used depend on the length of the audio and the playback conditions, so check what is shown before you confirm.

Check your voicemail

  1. Open the voicemail inbox.
  2. Check the time of the call and the caller, then play the audio.
  3. Download any audio you need before its retention deadline, or put it into proof storage.

To change the greeting, go to the voicemail greeting settings from the settings on your account page.

Using the inbox and the send and receive history

Sent records are in the fax outbox and the voice message outbox; received records are in the fax inbox and the voicemail inbox.

The history row remains, but once the file retention deadline passes the content can no longer be opened. Check the retention deadline shown on the screen.

Use proof storage

See how to use proof storage. The steps are the same on every plan. Check the rates and limits on the screens for your current plan.

In addition to sent records, received faxes and voicemail are eligible.

Contract period, automatic renewal and insufficient points

  1. Check the end date, next renewal date and automatic renewal status on the plan screen of your account page.
  2. Check the points needed for renewal and buy them before the renewal. Check the expiry of the points themselves too.
  3. After the renewal, check your plan and points history.

If there are not enough points for the renewal fee, you return to the Free plan and can no longer keep your dedicated number. To keep using the number, watch for a short balance and for expiring points.

Changing plan and stopping automatic renewal

  • Use the plan until the period ends, then stop: turn automatic renewal off on the plan screen. Check the end date of the current period.
  • Continue: turn automatic renewal back on during the contract period and have the points ready.
  • Return to Free immediately: choose "Leave Standard and return to the Free plan". The 050 number is released and the remaining period is not refunded.
  • Switch to Pro: see switching to Pro.

Stopping automatic renewal and switching to Free immediately are different operations. Before you confirm, check what happens to the number and the date of the change.

Adding numbers and managing staff as a corporation

A corporate administrator adds numbers from the account page and manages staff from the settings. Before adding, check the number limit and the additional and renewal fees.

  1. Log in with the corporate administrator account.
  2. Create staff accounts as needed and assign numbers to them.
  3. Check each staff member's usage status and the corporation's contract numbers and fees as a whole.

Blocking a staff account does not release its number. To release a number you no longer need, contact us.

Common questions and troubleshooting

  • The 050 number does not work: check that identity verification is complete, that the plan is within its period, and which numbers are under contract.
  • A received item cannot be found: check the number and time the other party sent to, then check both the fax inbox and the voicemail inbox.
  • Want to make real-time calls: switch to the Pro plan.
