What this check means

  • TEL050JP assigns a number only after the holder completes identity verification (My Number Card signature, or a non-forwardable letter to the registered address). Corporate accounts also submit a certificate of registered matters.

  • Names and company names are never shown here.
  • Numbers appear here only when the holder has allowed it.

An unknown result means this lookup cannot confirm information about the number. It does not establish that the number is unmanaged, unassigned or private. A verified value of null in this result does not establish the holder’s identity verification status.

The response is JSON with status (assigned, shared or unknown), verified, account_type, verified_since and assigned_since. Checks are limited per hour and per network address.
